Snoop Dogg Wishes Mom Beverly a Happy 69th Birthday

Snoop Dogg’s mother recently celebrated her 69th birthday, and the rapper spared no words in expressing his love and gratitude for his mother.

Rapper Snoop Dogg recently took to his Instagram page, where he shared a touching tribute to his mother, Beverly Tate, on her 69th birthday.

The post featured a picture of Beverly looking beautiful in a teal green blouse while rocking a smile on her face. Snoop posted the picture alongside a heartwarming caption where he expressed his gratitude to his mother. He wrote,

“Happy birthday mama thank u for having me and raising me the right way ????."

Although Dogg is now a grown man with his own family, it appears the father of four still allows his mother to guide him through his journey in life.

Following the death of Kobe Bryant in January, Dogg got into an online feud with Gayle King after the TV personality questioned the late NBA star’s legacy.

The rapper’s mother, however, wasn’t pleased with her son’s actions. According to Snoop, Beverly had chastised him for his words towards Gayle while reminding him that she raised him better than he acted.

The Long Beach, California native, explained that right after his discussion with his mom, he publicly apologized to King over his rude remarks. It comes as no surprise that Snoop’s mother has this type of positive impact on her son.

The 69-year-old has been an ordained evangelist for 15 years, and she is also the co-founder of “YouthBloc,” a non-profit organization targeted at teaching young people life and business skills.

It’s almost hard to believe that the rapper has a religious background, but he did. In fact, young Snoop started his music journey at his local Baptist church, where he sang and played the piano for a while.

Since he was discovered by Dr. Dre in the early 1990s, Snoop has come a long way and has recorded a successful career in music, movies, and TV.

Snoop is currently married to his high school sweetheart, Shante Broadus, and the two have enjoyed a happy marriage for 23 years. They have two sons and one daughter together.
