Peter Thomas of RHOA Pays Tribute to Parents on Their 53rd Wedding Anniversary

Peter Thomas recently celebrated his parent's marriage in an Instagram post. The Reality TV star wrote a touching tribute to the lovebirds.

In a recent Instagram post, "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star, Peter Thomas shared a series of throwback pictures of his parents during their wedding.

The post featured five pictures of his parents during their wedding. In one of the photos, the couple posed alongside two other friends. Thomas shared the photos alongside a lovely caption.

In the caption, Peter explained that his parents got married in 1967 and have been together ever since. According to him, it was always a good feeling to be around the couple. He wrote,

"My Mom & Dad, 1967-Present being married, they been together since 1955, it's beautiful to be around them. #family ❤️❤️❤️"

The reality star's fans were swift to leave their heartfelt comments on the post. Many admired the love between his parents and how they've been happily married for so long. Others gushed about how gorgeous his parents looked in their wedding attire.

Over the past few years, Thomas has gotten involved in quite a lot of trouble. In March 2019, Peter was arrested for writing fraudulent checks. While addressing the situation, he said in an Instagram video:

"Six days I spent in jail....I don't wish that on anyone, but I had a lot of time to think, and I had a lot of time to take medication because I'm claustrophobic."

He went on to explain that he had given the check out as a payment to book a performer for his sports bar.

Peter, however, added that he had done this without being aware that his checking account was compromised. This arrest came two years after he had been sued alongside his then-wife, Cynthia Bailey, over an alleged assault.

Thomas is best known for appearing on "Real Housewives Of Atlanta" with Bailey. The couple got married in 2010 and had an amicable split seven years later.

Following their break up, Cynthia opened up about the circumstances surrounding her split from Peter. She said:

"I was in love with Peter, but I'm just not wife material."

The actress also went on to openly declare that she would never get into a relationship she couldn't walk away from without a lawyer. For her, that meant never getting married.

However, despite these claims by Bailey, she has since found love with sports reporter, Mike Hill. In 2019, the couple got engaged after dating for a while.
