Kelly Ripa & Mark Consuelos Celebrate 24th Wedding Anniversary with a Sweet Timeline Video

Last month, television personality Kelly Ripa and her husband and actor Mark Consuelos celebrated their 24th wedding anniversary! The couple paid tribute to the milestone by taking to social media.

Taking to her Instagram account, Ripa, 49, celebrated her 24th anniversary with Consuelos, 48, by sharing a video montage. The clip showed the couple’s life together over the years.

In the video, the “Hope & Faith” alum and the “Riverdale” actor appeared together in footage from vacations to the pair all dressed up on the red carpet. Their three children also featured in the clip.

RIPA CELEBRATES ANNIVERSARY

Ripa and Consuelos are parents to Michael, 22, Lola, 18, and Joaquin, 17. The anniversary clip had background music by Van Morrison playing in the background.

Consueolos also took to his Instagram account with an adorable anniversary photo. The picture showed his wife’s hand resting on top of his.

The actor appeared to be holding his wife around the mid-section with both hands. He captioned the post: “Making a life, sharing a history, holding you close for 24 years.”

RIPA’S SECRET TO MARRIAGE

Consueolos also professed his love for Ripa whom he married in 1996. In January 2020, episode of “Live with Kelly & Ryan,” Ripa revealed that her secret to a successful marriage was patience, perseverance, and compromise.

FIGHTING IS A PART OF IT

She confessed during the episode that people who got married needed to accept that "You’re going to fight, you’re going to have disagreements.” The television personality explained how marriage wasn’t a sprint but a marathon instead.

WHERE THE COUPLE MET

She acknowledged how there’d be moments when one partner wanted to quit, “But you just got to push through. Just push through." Ripa and Consueolas met each other on the set of ABC’s iconic soap opera “All My Children.”

ELOPING TO LAS VEGAS

At the time, the pair were cast as a romantic couple and they couldn’t help but connect off-screen too. The duo started dating secretly and a few months into their relationship, Consuelos proposed.

The couple ended up eloping in Las Vegas on May 1, 1996.
