Halle Berry of 'Introducing Dorothy Dandridge' Flaunts Natural Beauty in Fresh After-Shower Selfie

Taraji P. Henson’s new haircare line got a special boost from Halle Berry who promoted it in her recent shower selfie.

Halle Berry appeared to have just come out of the shower when she took her selfie which she shared with her 6.1 million Instagram followers. The actress’ face was still wet and her curly long hair damp sharing her message for “#SelfCareSaturday.”

It was a nod to her friend, Taraji P. Henson who recently launched her own haircare line called TPH by Taraji. Halle had just sampled the brand’s hair mask and she credited Taraji for it. She also lauded the “Empire” star for her success.

Halle and Taraji formed a friendship due to their former manager, Vincent Cirrincione. Both cut ties with him after he was accused by nine women of sexual misconduct in 2018.

“I’ve known this woman since she started in the industry, and it’s been such a joy to watch her flourish and succeed. Obsessed with this line,” she captioned her fresh-from-the-shower pic.

Further, she directed her fans to her IG stories where she promoted her other favorite products from the new haircare brand.Taraji responded by reposting Halle's selfie and thanking her for her support throughout her career.

She recalled Halle throwing her a party to celebrate her first Oscar nomination. She also thanked the "Monster's Ball" actress for introducing her to the biggest Hollywood stars.

"A true Queen lifts other women ALL THE WAY UP!!! I love you Halle for ever!!! Beautiful inside and out!!!," she wrote.

THE SCANDALOUS TIE THAT BINDS THEM

Halle and Taraji formed a friendship due to their former manager, Vincent Cirrincione. Both cut ties with him after he was accused by nine women of sexual misconduct in 2018. He namedropped Halle and Taraji to proposition aspiring actresses.

While Taraji expressed her shock and disappointment in a post during the scandal, Halle wrote that she was “livid” that Vincent had used her and her status to lure vulnerable Black women.

Vincent built his career working with Black actresses and would namedrop her and Taraji to proposition them for sexual favors.

Taraji’s career was managed by Vincent for over two decades before she severed ties with him at the height of the scandal. Halle, on the other hand, dropped Vincent three years before the scandal broke when she heard a radio report about a misconduct allegation against him.

CHAMPIONS FOR BLACK WOMEN

Both actresses are champions for Black women. Halle dedicated her record-breaking Oscar Best Actress win to all women of color who aspire to achieve great heights in the entertainment industry.

She also worked for years with a domestic violence intervention and prevention program, having been a victim of physical abuse herself.

Meanwhile, Taraji promotes awareness for the needs of Black people suffering from mental health issues. She recently launched a campaign for free virtual therapy services to help those who may benefit from mental health counseling as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
