Vanessa Bryant Celebrates 1st Mother's Day since Kobe and Gianna's Tragic Deaths
Vanessa Bryant celebrated her first mother's day without Kobe and Gianna, spending it with her three other daughters at home.
Vanessa Bryant celebrated Mother's Day differently this year, as it was her first without her husband and daughter Gianna by her side. This time, she had her eldest daughter Natalia and their two toddler daughters Bianka and Capri with her.
Despite going through such a traumatic experience earlier this year, Vanessa has shown immense strength and courage through it all. She draws a lot of her strength from her three daughters, and during Mother's Day, they made sure to shower her with a lot of love, too.

A MOTHER'S DAY TRIBUTE
As a simple tribute to Queen Mamba, her daughters gave her a book titled "Why I Love My Mom." 17-year-old Natalia also shared a tribute to her mom by making a collage of photos on her Instagram page.
Friends of Kobe and Vanessa have also been showering her with love, sending her goodies during special occasions. This time, she received gifts and flowers from the likes of Rachel Zoe, Ciara, Gabrielle Union, and Dwyane Wade.

FIRST BIRTHDAY WITHOUT KOBE
Just a couple of days prior, Vanessa celebrated her 38th birthday with her three daughters. They had a simple Cinco De Mayo-themed celebration at home, where they enjoyed each other's company.
Back in January, Vanessa and her three children had to suffer a painful loss when Kobe and Gianna Bryant passed away in a helicopter crash while on the way to a basketball tournament.
She received generous gifts from their friends as well, hoping that she feels their love despite not being able to celebrate with her personally. Birthday messages on social media also poured in, reminding Vanessa that she is never alone.
HER FIRST-BORN'S BIRTHDAY MESSAGE
On her special day, Natalia made sure to share a sweet tribute to her mom, letting her know just how grateful she is to have her as a mom. On Instagram, she wrote:
"Happy Birthday, Momma! I love you SO much!"
