The first picture of the slide featured a younger Barrino and her daughter all-smiles while sitting side by side. Barrino was dressed in a bright green top with colorful stripes while her little girl was dressed in a lavender dress with hair accessories to match.
The next photo featured the mother and daughter duo dressed in matching colours. Zion was dressed in an adorable sky blue summer dress while her mom was dressed in a halterneck top similar in color to her daughter's.
The last of the series showed just how striking the resemblance between Zion and Barrino was. Both younger versions of themselves wore dresses, sitting a few feet apart and gave cute smiles to the camera.
...Fantasia and her husband have been the poster couple for happiness.
Zion has always been her mom's biggest fan and supporter since her career began. The 18-year-old was first introduced to the world in 2004 when she was about three years old, and Fantasia was contesting on "American Idol."
On August 8, 2019, when her daughter turned eighteen, Fantasia nearly exploded with the excitement that filled her. She didn't hesitate to take social media with a sweet tribute for her little girl who had grown up so fast. Fantasia wrote:
"I can't believe my Nugget is the Big 18th. August 8-8-01 was a Perfect Day. Now I want you to Go be Great for Mama and know I'll move Many Mountains For You Baby Girl."
Zion was one of Fantasia's most important motivations to succeed in her career. She became a household name when she emerged as the winner in the 2004 edition of "American Idol."
The year after on Mother's Day, she released a song titled "Baby Mama," in which she opened up about the struggles of raising her daughter alone. Fantasia shares her daughter with her ex-boyfriend, Brandel Shouse, with whom she had a dysfunctional relationship.
In 2017, Zion reached a milestone every parent longs to celebrate. She graduated from high school and achieved a dream her mother never got to achieve. The singer surprised fans with a celebration Instagram post with a picture of her with Zion and her estranged ex-boyfriend, Brandel Shouse.
In 2015, the "When I See You" songstress tied the knot with her husband, Kendall Taylor, just three life-changing weeks after they met. The singer said she knew he was the one when he prayed for her before she got on the road that particular day.
Since then, Fantasia and her husband have been the poster couple for happiness. Taylor also had kids from a previous marriage, and the couple even became happy grandparents through Taylor's son, Trey.
