Dwyane Wade's daughter Kaavia James may be following in the footsteps of her athletic father as she spends quarantine days practicing her underwater skills.
Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union's daughter, Kaavia James, is starting early in the athletic field as she practices swimming amid the coronavirus pandemic.
BABY KAAVIA'S SWIMMING SKILLS
The toddler's parents recently shared a glimpse of Kaavia's days in quarantine on social media. In the post, Kaavia is seen swimming in a pool with the help of baby floaters.
Kaavia is the only daughter of Dwyane Wade and Union, who was born via surrogacy.
Several fans and followers of the actress' daughter praised her for learning to swim at a young age. "Sooo great that she's not afraid of the water," one comment read.
Other Instagram users also pointed out the possibility of having Kaavia become an athlete in the future, with one even calling her a "pro" and getting ready for the Olympics.
Union has been posting on her daughter's social media account the past few weeks, sharing the different activities she and her child are up to.
PLAYING WITH AN ACCESSORY
Her facial expressions showed different reactions of confusion in the post, while the last picture showed the toddler lying on the floor.
Kaavia also took part in a viral challenge that tested her patience as she was supposed to wait for her mom to get back before eating snacks.
However, the adorable 18-month-old couldn't help herself and quickly munched on her favorite food as soon as Union left the room.
WELCOMING BABY KAAVIA
Kaavia is the only daughter of Dwyane Wade and Union, who was born via surrogacy. She joins the basketball player's other kids, Zaire, Zaya, and Xavier, who are all from previous relationships.
Recently, Union authored a book, "Welcome to the Party," which celebrated the coming of her daughter through a "non-traditional way."
"This is my love letter to every non-traditional family, blended families, that no matter how you became a new family, it is beautiful and real," she said.
Union's daughter is featured on the book's cover page and has recently become a fan of the children's novel herself.
