Daily Joke: Little Girl's Mom Tells Her She Cannot Go on a Picnic

A mother tried to punish her daughter by telling her she won't be allowed to go on a previously planned picnic. The mother then changed her mind, but it was too late because the little girl had already prayed for rain.

A minister had a six-year-old daughter who could be naughty sometimes. While in church one day, it was announced that there would be a picnic for the Sunday school, to which the little girl belonged.

The picnic's date was fixed, and this little girl was excited that she would be attending a memorable event. She really looked forward to going on the picnic.

However, some days before the picnic, the minister's daughter started acting naughty again, and so her mother decided to punish her In a hard way.

The angry mother then told the girl that she wouldn't be allowed to go on the picnic because of her naughty behavior.

This saddened the little girl, but she couldn't disobey her mom, so she accepted her punishment. But she had other plans in mind.

On the day the picnic was slated to be held, the girl's mother noticed that her daughter wasn't happy and so she started feeling like she had been too harsh on the little girl.

Trying to make amends, the doting mother revoked the punishment and told her daughter she could go for the picnic. But despite saying this, the little girl's mood was still gloomy.

Baffled by her daughter's reaction, her mother inquired to know why she wasn't happy about going to the picnic. The little girl then told her mother it was too later while adding:

"I've already prayed for rain."
