Stephanie Mills Celebrates Her Late Mom Christine and Patti LaBelle's Birthdays on the Same Day

Legendary singer and entertainer Stephanie Mills took to Instagram to celebrate her late mom Christine and her friend Patti LaBelle on their birthdays as they share the same birth date.

Birthdays are special and beautiful days to appreciate those that have impacted one's life. The joy of knowing that someone special was born on a particular day is enough to cause for celebration.

Stephanie Mills took to Instagram to celebrate two special women in her life. Both women share the same birth date and have had a tremendous impact on her life.

Stephanie shared a picture of her late mother, Christine, and her friend, the sensational singer Patti LaBelle. She appreciated them for their presence in her life.

To celebrate her mother, Stephanie shared a black and white picture of her late mother, Christine. Captioning the image she wrote:

"...I miss you mom, so much I'm the woman, mother, friend, I am today because of your love, strength, and guidance..."

In the same vein, she shared a picture of herself, her son, comedian Mike Epps and the phenomenal Patti LaBelle, taken in Los Angeles to appreciate the singer.

She called Patti a legend and stated that it was indeed a special day as she shared the same birthday with her mom. The picture showed all four of them smiling and posing for the camera.

Patti is also an excellent chef and has interestingly never driven a car.

Fans and lovers of Stephanie took to the comments section to share their birthday wishes for both Patti and her late mother.

On Patti's post, many people wished her a happy birthday and acknowledged her exceptional skills. While on the post about her mother, fans expressed that Christine was beautiful, and Stephanie resembled her. Someone added:

Stephanie Mills, who is best known for her disco hits and playing the role of "Dorothy" in the original Broadway run of "The Wiz" is a massive fan of sensational singer Patti LaBelle.

Patti, who has often been dubbed the "Godmother of Soul," is an enigma in the music and entertainment industry with over 50 years spent entertaining fans.

Aside from her beautiful high soprano voice, Patti is also an excellent chef and has interestingly never driven a car in her entire life. Born in Philadelphia, the singer even has a street named after her.
