On Tuesday, Robert Irwin, 16, had a chance to hang out with his newlywed older sister and her husband. The trio posed for a photo showing them smiling together with a stream of sunlight shining upon them.
Robert took to his Instagram account this week to share a gorgeous image with his sister, Bindi, 21. His sibling’s husband and his brother-in-law, Chandler Powell, 23, also featured in the photograph.
According to the Australian television personality, he was playing the third wheel to the young couple. He also revealed that the pair was on their “at-home honeymoon!”

BINDI’S MARRIAGE
The trio was at the family’s Australian Zoo wearing matching safari outfits. Bindi and Chandler were not able to go on an actual honeymoon due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease.
The television personality and her husband started seeing each other in 2013. They eventually got married on March 25, 2020, in a “small [last minute]ceremony.”
HONEYMOON AT THE ZOO
The wedding ceremony was held at her late father, Steve Irwin‘s zoo in Australia. A wedding special was later aired; showing never-before-seen footage from the event.
The ceremony was attended by close family members, Robert and Bindi’s mother, Terri. The conservationist took to social media to share other images from her honeymoon with Powell.
SHARING HONEYMOON PICS
In one of the photos, the pair was seen wearing in their trademark khaki uniforms standing close to a giraffe. She captioned her post writing: “Our honeymoon may not have turned out as we'd planned, but we're grateful to be spending time with our beautiful animals.”
WELCOMING A NEW PET
On Thursday, the Australian Zoo had something special to celebrate as documented by Robert. The teenager took to his Instagram account, once more, to reveal that they’d just welcomed a new pet.
MEET MARSHMALLOW
The young conservationist announced that they’d gotten a chicken called Marshmallow. The wildlife advocate shared some footage where he posed with the chicken perched on his shoulder.
INTRODUCING THE CHICKEN
He captioned the post writing: “Meet Marshmallow, without a doubt one of the sweetest chooks we've ever had.” The pair also posed together for a couple of selfies.
