Marc, an investment banker, proposed to Chelsea over Thanksgiving in 2009. On July 31, the following year, they tied the knot in an interfaith marriage.
In September 2014, they welcomed their daughter and first child together, Charlotte. Hillary was overjoyed at becoming a grandmother and took to Twitter to express her joy. She wrote:
"@BillClinton and I are over the moon to be grandparents! One of the happiest moments of our life."
The over-the-moon grandparents were especially doting on Charlotte as she was their first grandchild. Their happiness only doubled when Charlotte's baby brother, Aidan, was born on June 18, 2016. Bill shared the good news on Twitter with a sweet photo of himself with baby Aidan and Marc.
Marc and Chelsea were officially outnumbered on the kids to parents ratio when their third child and second son, Jasper, was born on July 22, 2019. In a Twitter post, she expressed how grateful she and her husband were for the latest addition to their family.
Charlotte's baby brother, Aidan, was still pretty young and left out of the serious topics.
Chelsea made it a point to always carry her kids along in the day-to-day runnings of their home and the world. Being Jasper and Aiden's big sister meant Charlotte was taught about the real world.
Since they live in New York, Chelsea decided to explain some of the things that she was likely to see on the streets. She wanted her daughter to be prepared for anything. Chelsea revealed that she had explained child separation and what it meant when ICE happened to be close by. She said:
"I didn't want her to be surprised or unprepared if that did happen while she was on the subway and I also wanted to plant the seeds."
The 40-year-old added that she had tabled several serious issues that she felt she needed to bring up to raise a socially aware child, including teaching her the country's policies and how they affected kids.
Charlotte's reaction to learning about family separations at the border and how fundamentally wrong it was showed her compassion and tenderness. Her then-four-year-old brain had struggled to understand why these bad people would want to tear families apart.

The awareness that Chelsea was seeking was finally showing. Charlotte's baby brother, Aidan, was still pretty young and left out of the serious topics. As soon as he was old enough, he would get a kiddy seat at the table and be taught a thing or two about the real world.
Marc, the mom of three, is doing her best to raise her children to be good individuals with the help of her husband.
