LisaRaye McCoy gives off some good energy amidst everything happening in America today, sharing snippets of herself dancing to try and dance her troubles away.
There has been a whole lot going on amid the COVID-19 pandemic and the protests and demonstrations happening around America. For LisaRaye McCoy, she decided to dance all her frustrations off and give off positive energy to all those who need it.
"Dancing for US AIIIIIII. I'm dancing in the name of love.... Chicago style. #LifeRocks #LordHelpUs #DanceInstead #PeaceWeTired."
SPREADING GOOD VIBES
After a couple of hours, she shared another video of herself dancing at night, this time revealing that she was "dancing some blues away." She added a couple of hashtags to support her video, such as #FatherBeWithUs and #BlackLivesMatter.
On top of her dancing videos, she shared another picture of George Floyd, the man who was tragically killed for being accused of writing a bad check. The picture called for the Minneapolis government to charge all officers responsible for George Floyd's murder.
TAKING A STAND
As many celebrities and public figures have stepped up to call out racial injustice and police brutality in America, McCoy made sure to let fans know that she is supporting the cause. Fans commended her for being vocal about such an important issue, especially given the circumstances in America today.

A CALL FOR JUSTICE
Previously, Colin Kaepernick of the NFL took a stand against police brutality in America by kneeling down during the national anthem at the games of the San Francisco 49ers. He received support and backlash for this, but ultimately, he was not given a renewed contract by his team and remains a free agent.
Now, many other celebrities and public figures have joined him in calling out racial injustice and police brutality, following the devastating death of George Floyd. Floyd was killed while at a supermarket in Minnesota after a clerk called the cops after he allegedly wrote a bad check.

A NATIONWIDE PROTEST
It turns out, he wasn't, but the police officers would not let him go and had a knee to his neck. Despite the pleas of help, he was not listened to and was killed at the hands of the officers.
The heartbreaking situation led millions across the country to protest on his behalf, as they try to put an end to racial discrimination and police brutality once and for all. People from all walks of life have taken to social media and the streets to ask for much-needed reforms.
