During the most recent episode of “Live with Kelly and Ryan,” Kelly Ripa remembered how it felt working alongside Josh Duhamel on “All My Children.”

Fox News reported that just before she and her co-host Ryan Seacrest introduced him on their talk show, Kelly told viewers that Josh spent some part of his breaks playing with her son, Michael Consuelos - who was still a toddler at the time. The 49-year-old, who is also a dancer and TV producer, stated:

“He would sit and play with Michael, who was a toddler, for hours, and Michael used to call him the Iron Giant.”

The nickname seems to be a good fit for Josh, whom Daily Mail noted is "6ft 4in" tall. The site added that while referring to her Josh as somebody who was “destined to be a parent,” Kelly shared that she beckoned on her now-23-year-old son to see his former on-set “babysitter.”

The beckoning occurred during the virtual sound check process that they went through earlier that morning before they filmed the talk show. Back in May, People reported on Kelly’s disclosure on how being a part of “All My Children” affected her life.

After six callbacks and two screen tests, Ripa finally got the part which she said “it really was a happy accident. It changed my life — not just my acting life, but changed the whole trajectory of my life.”
