Nick Cordero's wife, Amanda Kloots, has revealed that there are no plans of him undergoing a lung transplant anytime soon. She said this in the latest update she gave about Cordero's condition.

Kloots made an Instagram Story post on Friday to keep fans of the actor as well as well-wishers up to date on his recovery from the complications he suffered as a result of COVID-19.

In the video post, Kloots said that Cordero received a second round of exosomes treatment into his system and that the latest CT scans of the area around his chest and lungs weren't the prettiest.

Kloots, a fitness instructor, also explained that doctors urged her to remain positive about her husband recovering from his ill-health. She said:

The fitness instructor further said that the doctor explained that he had seen lungs recover and do incredible things; hence she should not give up hope because there could be more to the functionality of something than a picture.

Though a lung transfer is possible for COVID-19 patients in their recovery, it is not an option for Cordero. Kloots disclosed this in the Instagram Story post on Thursday night.

Kloots said that she had faith that was small as a mustard seed.

She said that her husband wouldn't survive a transplant because he was too weak, but that if he got strong enough, later on, it may become more of a probability.

Kloots had managed to hold on despite the difficulty her husband had passed through this period and showed how much she missed him when she shared an adorable picture of the actor with their son, Elvis, writing:

"I miss him. Day 57. I remember taking this picture of Nick. We were walking to a pediatrician appointment..."

Kloots has been resilient in hopes that Cordero would recover from his condition and come back home someday.

In one of her updated posts about his health, she revealed that she had been told a couple of times that the actor wouldn't make it and that she should say goodbye to him.

However, Kloots said that she had faith that was small as a mustard seed, adding that sometimes that was all that a person needed. Accompanying the post was a cute picture of Cordero and Elvis.

Two days after that post, Kloots also shared another update via an Instagram Story video, where she revealed that Nick started and finished a stem cell transplant that they decided on a couple of days back.

The loving wife expressed excitement about the treatment, hoping it would have a positive impact on her husband's health, and make him better.

It can be recalled that Cordero was admitted to Los Angeles' Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in March for pneumonia, before being diagnosed with COVID-19.

Since then, the actor has suffered lung infections, septic shock, a leg amputation, and other complications. His family also opened a GoFundMe page to raise funds for his medical expenses.
