Amy Schumer Shares Rare Photo of Son Gene and He's Already So Big
Amy Schumer shared a rare picture of son Gene with her legion of followers on social media. Also pictured was her husband.
Schumer, 39, took to Instagram to share a rare and adorable new snap of her one-year-old son Gene. In the image, the baby boy participated in a group cuddle with his celebrated mother and father — professional chef Chris Fischer.
"Trying time appreciate every second," the stand-up comedian and actress captioned the photograph that shows the family of three resting on a bed.

THE REAL FAMILY PICTURE
Schumer lay close to Fischer, who was beaming in the picture. Gene, on the other hand, looked directly at the camera, grinning.
As of writing, the photo already amassed more than 297,000 likes. Many were also impressed by the photograph, with one fan saying it was the real family picture.
As reported by Inquistr, Schumer and Fischer starred in their own show on Food Network called "Amy Schumer Learns to Cook." The series was shot at their home amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
WHIRLWIND ROMANCE
Schumer and Fischer exchanged their wedding vows in February 2018 in Malibu, California, according to Bustle. Their big day reportedly took place after only dating for a few months.
Schumer's wedding may have been quick by certain measures. In any case, the star explained in an interview that it was not done without planning.
The couple welcomed their son Gene in May 2019.
"NOT A LONG COURTSHIP"
"We have known each other for about a year now and we've been living together already for six months," Schumer said.
She added that although "it's not a long courtship," it's not like they "had a great weekend in Vegas and threw in the towel."
The couple was spotted for the first time together in 2017. They were captured in New York City having dinner.
Three months later, they confirmed that they were in a relationship, with Schumer taking to Instagram to share a snap kissing Fischer.
Schumer also announced the couple had gotten married not long after confirming their relationship. The couple welcomed their son Gene in May 2019.
According to Biography, Schumer started her stand-up career in the mid-2000s. In 2007, she was placed fourth on NBC's "Last Comic Standing."
After four years, Schumer released her first album. Her own show "Inside Amy Schumer" premiered on Comedy Central in 2013.
The show earned her an Emmy award two years later. She then wrote and starred in the 2015 film "Trainwreck. Schumer also earned a Tony nomination after her Broadway debut in "Meteor Shower" in 2017.
