'Chrisley Knows Best' Is Back and Fans Have Mixed Reactions on Savannah's Canceled Wedding

On Tuesday, Todd Chrisley shared with his fans that “Chrisley Knows Best” would be returning for a new season real soon. He included a sneak peek of season 8 which revealed how his daughter’s marriage was canceled.

Todd captioned his Instagram post sharing how “Chrisley Knows Best” would be returning on July 9, 2020. He also teased his fans with a preview of the shenanigans they could expect.
One scene showed his daughter, Savannah, 22, announcing how she and Nic Kerdiles, 26, had ended things. She also shared that the engagement and marriage were canceled.

A CANCELED WEDDING
Another scene showed how Todd continued being friends with Kerdiles despite him no longer dating his daughter. The family patriarch was recorded while playing gold with the former fiancé.

Taking some steps back
“Chrisley Knows Best” fans didn’t miss the announcement and took to the comments section of the post to share their thoughts. One follower was glad the show was coming back but also noted feeling “bad for Savanna [sic].”

FANS SHOCKED BY ANNOUNCEMENT
Someone else revealed how they’d “gasped” when they heard the sad news. A third person wanted to know why the couple had called things off.

GETTING ENGAGED
Savannah and Kerdiles got engaged during the 2018 Christmas Eve. Late last year, they sparked breakup rumors after the reality star was seen in a couple of social media photos without her engagement ring.

WORKING ON THE RELATIONSHIP
Speaking to his future father-in-law on his podcast “Chrisley Confessions,” Kerdiles cleared things up. He shared that he and his fiancée were still engaged and:
"We are working on ourselves every single day and our relationship."

RE-EVALUATING THINGS
Savannah also gave an update on the state of their relationship saying they were just "taking some steps back." Earlier in the year, the professional hockey player took to Instagram to profess his love for the reality star.

A LOVE THAT NEVER WAIVERS
He confessed that they’d faced “trials and tribulations” throughout their relationship. However, he went on to explain that what made their relationship special was that “our love never waivers.”
SEASON 8
Kerdiles included a photo of Savannah dressed in red. “Chrisley Knows Best” aired for the first time on USA Network in spring 2014.
Season 8 will air at 9/8c on Thursdays on USA Network.
