Jennifer Lopez's Son Max Chose a Name for His Puppy After Fans Vote
Jennifer Lopez recently asked fans to help her son Maximilian to name his new puppy. On Wednesday, the star revealed the winning name.
Lopez took to Instagram to share three images of the family’s new puppy. In two of the photos, the dog was seen with the singer’s twin son and new owner, Maximilian, 12.
The “Hustlers” actress captioned the post revealing the canine’s new name which was chosen by her fans. Lopez thanked her followers for voting for the dog’s name.

PUPPY’S NEW NAME
She also posted a photo of Maximilian with the dog on her Instagram Story and confirmed the pet's new name. A fan thought "Tyson Lopez," was a good name for the puppy and it could be nicknamed "Ty-Lo."

A NEW FAMILY MEMBER
Last week Thursday, Lopez revealed on the social media platform that she and her fiancé Alex Rodriguez had added a new family member. The Goldendoodle was meant as a surprise gift for her son.
The post included a video of Maximilian with his twin sister, Emme, and Tyson playing around. The pre-teen was heard choosing the name “Mike” for the dog before his mother came up with a better naming idea.
CHOOSING A NAME
She asked her fans to vote between “Tyson” and “Yankee” for the puppy’s name. Rodriguez also shared a post featuring the dog to his account and asked his fans to vote between the two names.
Lopez shares the twins with her ex-husband, Marc Anthony. Rodriguez has daughters Natasha, 15, and Ella, 12, from his previous relationship.
THE KIDS GET ALONG
In a previous interview, the couple opened up about how their children were getting along. Lopez confessed: "I was so loving to his kids and he was so loving and accepting of mine, and they embraced each other right away.”

POSTPONING THE WEDDING
The couple has had to postpone their wedding due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease. In May 2020, Lopez had a remote appearance on the “Today” show where she spoke about the postponement.
She said: "I'm a little heartbroken because we did have some great plans, but I'm also like, you know what? God has a bigger plan." The star added that she hoped the wedding would be better and they’d just have to wait and see.
