Snoop Dogg Pays Touching Tribute to His Wife Shante Broadus on Their Daughter Cori's Birthday

Snoop Dogg's only daughter, Cori Broadus, celebrated her birthday on Monday, and the rapper took time out on Instagram to thank his wife Shante Broadus for Cori.

Rapper Snoop Dogg was all sweet and cute in a post he recently shared on his Instagram page, where he thanked his beautiful wife, Shante Broadus, for their daughter, Cori Broadus. He wrote:

"@bosslady_ent Thank. U [sic] for my baby girl @princessbroadus."

Accompanying Snoop Dogg's message was a picture of him and Shante from years back. The then young couple were in a warm embrace while they posed for the camera.

Snoop Dogg and Shante have been married for 23 years and they still remain strong after so many years. Snoop and his wife were high school sweethearts before tying the knot in 1997.

The marriage has not been rosy, though, with Snoop Dogg filing for divorce in 2004, though he ended up canceling the proceedings, with the couple finding love once again and renewing their marital vows in 2008.

He apologized to the television personality, claiming that his mother, Beverly inspired him to do so.

Snoop Dogg and Shante are parents to three children, sons, Cordell and Corde, and daughter Cori. The rapper also has a son, Julian, from a previous relationship.

Since renewing their marital vows, Snoop Dogg and Shante have remained a strong and united couple, and continue to celebrate the life they have made for each other.

Snoop Dogg was born to Vernall Varnado and Beverly Broadus in 1971. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Calvin Cordozar Broadus, and she remains a strong influence in his life.

A glimpse of Beverly's influence in the rapper's life was seen after he issued an apology to Gayle King after lashing out at her for her comments on Kobe Bryant, after the basketballer's death.

Snoop Dogg's ill-mouthed response to Gayle King's comments led to some people attacking him, while others backed him. Still, he apologized to the television personality, claiming that his mother, Beverly, inspired him to do so.

Meanwhile, the rapper continues to inspire his kids and his daughter, Cori seems to be following in his musical footsteps.

After dropping a music video for her song, "Sittin in My Room," in 2017, Cori's career has continued to grow in leaps and bounds, and it will only take a while before she becomes the name on everyone's lips.
