Teyana Taylor Honors the Men in Her Growing Family with Sweet Posts on Father's Day

During the Father's Day celebration on Sunday, singer Teyana Taylor paid a sweet tribute to her father as well as her husband.

In her first Instagram post, Taylor shared some photos of herself posing alongside her father. In another image, the older man was sporting an adorable yellow outfit. Captioning the photos, Taylor wrote,

"Happy papa day to one of my favorite people in the whole wide worlddddddd @boemoney_ I love you pops! Always and forever. ????"

In a separate post, Taylor shared a series of cozy pictures with husband, Iman Shumpert. The images were accompanied by a touching tribute, where she described her husband as the love of her life while writing:

"You are the love of my life, and the greatest gift a wife & daughter could have ever been gifted with……. I Love you, Papa! Happy Papa Bear Day! ???"

The sweet post garnered reactions from fans and loved ones, including Shumpert, who lovingly wrote, "I love youuuuu."

Taylor's mother, Nikki Taylor, also wished Shumpert a happy father's day by writing, "?? HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AGAIN IMAN!!!!!!" while several other followers equally left their best wishes.

Taylor and Shumpert reportedly first met at a party where Shumpert was drunk.

Earlier in April, Taylor released a music video for her song, "Wake Up Love" where she debuted a baby bump, indicating that she and Shumpert were expecting their second child together.

While speaking to People, Taylor explained that her family was excited about the pregnancy while adding that they are ready for the new addition. She said:

"We're ready, and we're very excited. "Iman is super excited. Junie is ecstatic — I'm talking super ecstatic. Everybody is just excited."

Back in 2015, the couple welcomed their first child, Iman Tayla "Junie" Shumpert, and surprisingly, Taylor gave birth to her baby in a bathroom. Taking to Instagram, Taylor explained that she had no idea she was in labor until she felt the baby's head between her thighs.

On finding out that his wife was in labor, Shumpert took up the role of a doctor and delivered the baby. He also ended up tying a pair of red headphones around the umbilical cord before the arrival of the ambulance.

Taylor and Shumpert's love story is one of the most beautiful in Hollywood, and they've carried their fans along through their journey. The two reportedly met at a party where Shumpert was drunk, and Taylor didn't seem to approve of him at the time.
