Kim Kardashian's Hairstylist Chris Appleton Shares Details on Her New Hair Color

Celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton takes to Instagram with stunning videos of media personality and reality star, Kim Kardashian, sporting newly colored bright red locks.

Chris Appleton, celebrity hairstylist and the creator of many memorable red carpet looks, has once again proved his efficiency in creating marvelous hairstyles. The stylist took to Instagram to share two videos of Kim Kardashian rocking freshly dyed red hair. He wrote,

"Red head ? it's NOT a wig before you start with that [expletive]."

The first video featured a gorgeous-looking Kardashian laying down with her freshly done red hair-do piled on top of her head in a topknot with a middle part hair bang.

The fashion mogul twisted and turned her head ever so slightly to give her viewers a better look at her hair, asking them if they like her new look.

The second video showed a bright-eyed Kardashian in an eye-catching orange top puckering her lips at the camera while rocking flawless makeup.

Appleton's followers made sure to share their opinions; some claimed to love the hairstyle while others decided they preferred other colors on the reality star.

This red hair would not be the first time she has opted for risque colors instead of her luscious brown looks.

The "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star also shared Appleton's video on her Instagram on June 29, garnering over a million views in just a few days. Her followers and fans wasted no time in trooping to the comments section to fawn over the fashion entrepreneur.

Appleton was also proud of his masterpiece on Kardashian's head, and wasted no time in gushing about the reality star. In an interview with People, the hairstylist said:

"Kim is a trendsetter and not afraid of doing something new. We have done the blonde and the pink before and red was unexpected. I love that about Kim."

Appleton revealed that he and Kardashian got the inspiration for her new hairstyle from the bright red wig she wore for the promo shoot for her KKW Beauty "Sooo Fire" Collection in 2019.

He said that they both felt a red vibe, and he worked with his superstar client's skin tone to create a red hue that would sit well with her appearance. He also explained why he made the roots of her locks a lot darker than the strands.

While some people were pretty certain that the makeup mogul was just playing dress up for the day, Today reports that it would not be the first time she has opted for other risque colors instead of her luscious brown looks. These colors include red, blonde, and even blue.

Kardashian seems to be making the most of her time in quarantine by joining many other celebrities in picking up a new color for their hair.
