'House of Payne' Star China McClain Shows off Her Natural Beauty in a Series of Selfies
"Black Lightning" star China McClain was a sight to behold as she rocked a no-makeup makeup look in a couple of selfies. Fans cannot get over how naturally beautiful she is!
Fans have seen China McClain grow up in front of their own eyes and they are in awe of what a beautiful woman she has become.
McClain, who has been empowering her fans on Instagram by sharing stories about her personal experiences with racism, just made her fans swoon with yet another post showing off her radiant beauty.
GROWING UP TO BE A BEAUTY
The "House of Payne" star kept her makeup to the minimum and donned a black bonnet. As for accessories, she opted for a pair of hoop earrings and a thin chain with a cross.
Last year, the actress took her fans by surprise when she revealed that she had chopped off her curls nearly a year ago. "I cut it off close to a year ago," she wrote in the post from July 21, 2019.
McClain has been an actress ever since she was a kid. Her big movie role was at the age of 7 after she appeared alongside actor Idris Elba in the movie "The Gospel."
McClain feels like she is a mix of Jennifer and Uma from "Black Lightning" and "Descendants 2."
Soon, Tyler Perry discovered the gifted star and cast her in several movies and TV series. After starring in a string of movies and earning a few guest-starring spots on TV, McClain was cast as Jazmine in "Tyler Perry’s House of Payne."
A BORN STAR
McClain shot to fame after the long-term gig. Her next project was Disney's show "A.N.T. Farm" where she scored a major role as Chyna Parks with other stars including Zendaya, Vanessa Morgan, and Cameron Boyce.
The actress scored several roles in the "Descendants" franchise as well. In 2018, she moved on from Disney to The CW.
After the shift, McClain got a chance to play a more mature role as compared to her previous roles. She was cast as Jennifer Pierce in "Black Lightning."

According to the actress, "Black Lightning" was one of her very first African-American superheroes. When it comes to her roles, McClain feels like she is a mix of Jennifer and Uma from "Black Lightning" and "Descendants 2."
McClain once admitted that she wants little girls to how not to take "no" for an answer from her character Uma. "And working as hard as you can to get it," she added.
