"Just for the love of it! Me and my baby," Mills lovingly captioned the photo that featured the mother-and-son duo hugging each other as they smiled for the camera.

A PRECIOUS BOND

A few months ago, Mills celebrated her son's 19th birthday. Farad, who has down syndrome, was born to his famous mother when she was 45 years old.

Mills' career as a singer and an actress took off when she was merely 9 years old in the Broadway show "Maggie Flynn."

On her son's birthday, the proud mother gushed about him and shared that he is the greatest gift that she has ever been given in an Instagram post. She wrote:

"They questioned how I was gonna balance my career, and raising a special needs child. Having my child saved my life!"

Despite what the naysayers had to say, Mills went on to successfully raise her child, all while navigating through her career like a champ.

STEPHANIE'S CAREER
