"We are over the moon and soaking up so the cuddles and showering her with kisses," she continued. She linked a newly-created page for Mayzel which she will be running.

According to MSN, Mayzel was delivered via C-section at 37 weeks due to health risks arising from "potentially dangerous contractions." During her pregnancy, Mitchell also faced a skin cancer scare.

Mitchell and Michael's latest addition follows a miscarriage in 2018. The pair would likely have had twins if not for their loss. Mitchell publicly mourned her babies in a blog post for Growing Up Hollywood.

In March of 2020, Mitchell announced she was pregnant again by showing off a positive result from a test on Instagram. She called her then-unborn child a rainbow baby, referencing her previous loss.

Mitchell and fellow stars of "7th Heaven" all recently suffered a loss when one of their co-stars, Lorenzo Brino, passed away in March. The actor was only 21 years old.

Brino, who played Sam Camden on the show, died after a car accident in Yucaipa, California. He left behind several family members, friends, and fans to mourn.

One such friend was Josh, who called the star his "big bro" in a sweet tributary Twitter post. Another friend named Stephen shared clips of him and Brino doing outdoor activities on YouTube.

Brino's sister, Mimi, shared several photos of her late brother and talked about growing up together. She called him her "guardian angel" now that he is gone. Brino also left behind his parents, a brother, and quadruplet siblings.
