Donny Osmond Sends Birthday Wishes to Pregnant Daughter-In-Law Alongside a Family Photo

Donny Osmond will soon welcome another grandchild. The crooner recently shared his birthday wishes for his pregnant daughter-in-law along with a family photo.

Donny, on July 20, penned a short but sweet message on Instagram for Alta, her daughter-in-law. The excited grandfather shared the photo with his 206,000 followers.

Also seen in the picture, which has received 13, 759 reactions, is Donny’s son, Christopher. Many fans wrote birthday greetings to Alta and commented that they adore the trio’s picture.

The “Too Young” singer expressed his confidence that Christopher and Alta will become wonderful parents to their baby girl on the way.

He only learned Alta’s pregnancy when the couple did a gender reveal party last month. Shots of pink powder out of a cannon signified that the couple will be having a girl as a baby.

Donny feels nostalgic about the life-changing events in his life, including starring on his old TV show, “Donny and Marie,” with sister Marie Osmond.

Donny and wife, Debbie, were delighted to hear the news. At present, they have one granddaughter and nine grandsons, as reported by Closer Weekly.

Christopher, who will be a first-time father, has been married to Alta since 2017. To celebrate their second wedding anniversary, he shared throwback photos on Instagram, including one taken during their wedding day, as reported by Closer Weekly. He said:

“You’re a light to so many people and I’m so proud of you. I will always consider you my role model and anchor.”

It is not only Christopher who bid goodbye to singlehood. Donny’s youngest son, Josh, 22, married his girlfriend Summer Felsted, 21, in an intimate backyard wedding on June 12, as reported by Fox News.

Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, their wedding turned out to be a beautiful ceremony. The couple plans to have children but, for now, they want to enjoy each other’s company and finish their studies.

Donny feels happy that his youngest son is finally married. Aside from Christopher and Josh, the "Seasons of Love” singer has other grown-up sons, namely Jeremy, Donald Clark, and Brandon.

Donny feels nostalgic about the life-changing events in his life, including starring on his old TV show, "Donny and Marie," with sister Marie Osmond, as reported by Closer Weekly.

He shared a picture on Instagram taken during a 1976 taping of their hit variety show. The superstar siblings ran the show from 1975 until 1979.

Donny and the “Paper Roses” star were the favorite duos in Hollywood. Marie also reminisced about the show, saying it “literally changed our lives.”

In the early 1960s, “The Osmonds” were one of the iconic bands of siblings in Hollywood. The band paved the way for Marie and Donny to achieve massive fame.

Of the 9 siblings, the members of the famous band were Alan, Wayne, Merrill, Jay, Jimmy, and Donny. Marie later launched her solo singing career and formed a duo with Donny.
