MLB Star Michael Kopech Filed for Divorce from Vanessa Morgan before Pregnancy Reveal — Inside Their Relationship

Michael Kopech, a professional baseball player, served his wife, actress Vanessa Morgan, a divorce lawsuit barely six months after they walked down the aisle and shortly after their pregnancy reveal.

MLB star, Michael Kopech has filed for divorce from his pregnant wife, Vanessa Morgan, who is famous for appearing on the hit television series, "Riverdale."

According to a Chicago Tribune report, Kopech filed for divorce on June 19 in Morris County, where he is believed to have been raised.

After a tribune inquiry on Monday, the case was sealed, but no hearing date has been scheduled. The divorce news comes only days after Morgan hosted a few of her family and close friends at a gender reveal party.

While sharing the announcement on Instagram, Morgan did not mention Kopech, and the athlete was noticeably absent from the photos and clips the actress posted.

The couple's divorce comes only five months after they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in Florida.

At the time, Morgan exclusively told E News! that she was excited to begin her marital journey with Kopech. The "Riverdale" star also added that she could not wait to spend the rest of her life with him.

The couple reportedly began their romance after meeting on social media. Morgan was said to have seen Kopech on her explore page and immediately admitted to herself that he was her dream guy.

She then proceeded to twitter, where she followed him, and Kopech followed her right back. A few weeks later, Kopech sent her a DM, and they continued to text for a few months before they finally met in Chicago in June 2018.

Despite their beautiful love story, this might be the end for Kopech and Morgan, and the couple might not get a chance at their happily ever after fairytale after all.
