Remember Benjamin Keough through Unseen Videos Posted by His Sister Riley

On Monday, Riley Keough took to her Instagram Stories to mourn her late brother, Benjamin. On July 12, 2020, the actress’s brother was found dead in Calabasas, California.

Riley, 31, shared some lovely videos that featured her late younger sibling Benjamin, 27, on social media. Showing how she was a typical older sister; a lot of the footage revealed how she was featuring an unwilling Benjamin.

In a couple of clips, the late musician was heard asking his sister to stop as the actress directed the camera at him. She also caught him by surprise in several recordings.

REMEMBERING BENJAMIN

The rare and unseen clips allowed Riley’s fans to visually see the kind of bond she had with her brother. Benjamin was completely relaxed around her even busting out a dance move in one of the recordings.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department discovered Benjamin “suffering from one gunshot wound,” and was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy revealed that he’d died from an intraoral shotgun wound.

LISA MARIE IS DEVASTATED

His death was ruled as a suicide. Roger Widynowski, a representative for Benjamin’s mother, Lisa Marie Presley, 52, shared how she was “entirely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated” by the loss. Widynowski also noted how Lisa had “adored” her son.

Benjamin also had half twin sisters named, Finley and Harper, 11. The two girls are Lisa’s with her ex-husband, Michael Lockwood.

RILEY HONORS LATE BROTHER

The singer shares Benjamin and Riley with ex-husband Danny Keough. Riley paid tribute to her brother with a lengthy and heartfelt post on Instagram.

PRISCILLA MOURNS GRANDSON

The post included images of the late musician and his sister. Priscilla Presley, 75, Benjamin’s grandmother, also took to Facebook to share her personal thoughts on losing him so suddenly.

TRYING TO MAKE SENSE OF IT

She revealed that she was devastated by the sudden loss of her grandson. Priscilla explained how she was now "Trying to put all the pieces together” as she wades through the many questions about why he took his life.

PRAYING IT GETS BETTER

She shared how she’d wake up daily and “pray it will get better." Priscilla also sent her condolences and thoughts to Benjamin’s grieving parents.

LISA MARIE’S GRIEF

The grandmother also noted the amount of the pain her daughter was “going through as she was a doting mother." She also stated how Danny was suffering too having lost his only son.

BEN’S BOND WITH HIS SISTERS

Priscilla also opened up about the relationships Benjamin had with Riley and his twin sisters. The star concluded her post by wishing her grandson a peaceful rest.
