West, who suffers from bipolar disorder, recently went through a hysterical outburst at a political rally and on social media. A source told PEOPLE that Bieber wants to be supportive, adding:

"He told Kanye that he needed to talk to Kim. And Kanye finally texted Kim and they talked on the phone."

With regards to mental health problems, Bieber is "beyond supportive" of the rapper in view of his own previous battles, according to the publication.

Bieber and Hailey's visit followed west's presidential campaign event in North Charleston, South Carolina. During the occasion, the rapper emotionally revealed that he had prevented his wife from aborting North, their eldest daughter.

West also took to Twitter to claim that he had been trying to divorce the famous reality star for two years. After the KKW Beauty founder visited him in the emergency room recently, West tweeted a conciliatory sentiment to Kardashian.

Kardashian, who got her first stint in showbiz as stylist of Paris Hilton, reacted to the conduct of her husband and said she feels "powerless" to support him.

An insider told The Sun that West's recent outbursts about his marriage, family and extremist perspectives are "nothing new."

The source also claimed that numerous comparable tirades would just be edited out on the hit reality show, "Keeping Up with the Kardashians."

Meanwhile, a source told PEOPLE that Kardashian is trying to protect their children from the public outbursts of their father.

The couple, who exchanged their wedding vows in May 2014, share daughters North and Chicago, and sons Saint and Psalm.
