Marlon Wayans Pays Tribute to His Late Mom Elvira –– See the Sweet Photo & Message
Marlon Wayans recently took to social media with an adorable throwback picture featuring him with his deceased mother. He says he misses her.
Famous actor, Marlon Wayans is mourning his late mother who recently passed away. He took to his Instagram page to share an adorable throwback shot of him placing a sweet kiss on his smiling mom's cheek. He captioned the post,
"Missing you...so much."

Fans took to the comments section to offer their condolences and share hopeful messages. One fan wrote, "Big dawg, very sorry for your loss...I know she had to be a strong woman to raise all [of] you! Much love to you and the fam and hugs up to heaven to your mom! Bless up."
After news of her death hit the internet, several A-list celebrities took to social media to make sure Marlon knows he is not alone.
The Wayans family lost their matriarch, Elvira, back in July at age 81. The cause of death is at the moment still unknown.
On July 23, Marlon, who shares his birthday with his mom, took to Instagram with an emotional tribute on what would have been her 82nd birthday and his 48th.
He shared a photo of him with a smiling Elvira and declared that her death shattered him "into 1000 pieces." He stated that he is in the process of putting himself back together one piece at a time through grieving.
The talented actor further added that he misses her and that she would always be his glue. Before her demise, Elvira Wayans gave birth to 10 children whom she shared with her husband Howell.
Elvira is survived by many grandchildren including "Happy Together" and "New Girl" alum Damon Wayans Jr. After news of her death hit the internet, several A-list celebrities took to social media to make sure Marlon knows he is not alone.
Marlon's siblings—most of whom are also in the entertainment industry— also include Keenan, Damon, Shawn, Dwayne, Kim, Nadia, Elvira, Diedre, and Vonnie.
The crew is known to have written, directed, produced, and also starred in numerous movies and TV series including "The Wayans Bros."
