Former professional basketball player Ray Allen and his wife, Shannon, penned down touching love messages on their Instagram pages to celebrate their 12th anniversary.
On August 16, 2008, Ray Allen tied the knot with his sweetheart, Shannon Walker Williams. Twelve years later, the pair is still going strong and commemorated their special anniversary with sweet messages on Instagram. Allen wrote:
"They say that a man chases a woman until she catches him. Well, thank you for catching me @swalkerwil."

Allen continued saying that he learned that one did not just find a great marriage. They had to make a great marriage and keep on nurturing it. The former sportsman shared a gallery of photos featuring their twelve years of loving each other.
The first was a heartwarming photo of their wedding day with Allen staring at his sparkling bride with love. The following featured snaps of them at various places and events, looking as happy as always.
The incredible woman to whom Allen's sweet words were directed also crafted her sweet message for her handsome hubby on Instagram.
It opened in March 2016 and was focused on serving healthy and delicious alternatives to fast food.
Like Allen, Williams shared a slideshow of photos that featured several throwbacks from when they were much younger. She also shared snaps from their wedding day and random pictures of them. She captioned:
"I thank God for you with every breath. Your name will forever be on my lips. Forever etched across my heart..."
For Williams, Allen's face is the only face she looks for and an eternity is not long enough for her to breathe her husband in. She prayed for his safety, health, happiness, and fulfillment of his every dream.
The couple has reportedly been firmly wrapped in love from way back. They welcomed two of their four children before marriage — sons Walter and Walker. Their son Wynn came in 2009 and Wynstan arrived in 2012.
The couple also shares Williams' daughter, Tierra, from a previous relationship. Born in November 1974, the Connecticut-native has also had her fair share of the entertainment industry.
The 45-year-old was reportedly a founding member of the '90s music group, Shades but moved on to the acting industry for a brief stint as an actress after Shades split up.
She owns a restaurant in Orlando called Grown. It opened in March 2016 and focuses on serving healthy and delicious alternatives to fast food, looking to cater to vegans, people with food allergies, or people looking to stay on their diets.
Allen is her partner in the business as well, helping with keeping people healthy. Over the years, the former NBA star and his brilliant wife have shown to be a couple supportive of one another and they remain deeply in love.
