Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade Pose with Their Kids on a Boat and Fans Love the Photo

The “Being Mary Jane” star and her sports star husband have been enjoying the warm weather with their children, recently going on a fun day out aboard a boat, as social media reveals.

47-year-old actress Gabrielle Union and her husband of six years, 38-year-old former NBA shooting guard Dwyane Wade are the heads of a beautiful mixed family, completing a party-of-six.

Apart from sharing 1-year-old daughter Kaavia with Union, Wade is also the father of three older children from his previous marriage. They are 18-year-old Zaire, 13-year-old Zaya, and 6-year-old Xavier.

On August 17, 2020, Union took to her Instagram feed to share a couple of snapshots of all but one member of the mixed family, Xavier.

The group looked happy as they posed for the images post in a slideshow and enjoyed a boat outing to get some of the summer weather after a long period of lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Union wore a white and blue striped unbuttoned shirt on top of her bikini and protected her face from the sun with a visor, keeping her curls up in a bun. Wade wore an all-black ensemble with shorts, a sweatshirt, and a baseball cap.

Zaya wore a beautiful shirtdress with a low cutline and long, loose sleeves and she donned beautiful turquoise hair.

Fans of the actress were pleased to see her enjoying such quality time with her immediate family and they took to the comments section of the post to leave loving messages for the star.

“Beautiful family!” a couple of users wrote. “Looking great,” wrote another user. “Awesome family photo,” added yet another person.

AGE IS JUST A NUMBER

Union might be close to turning 50 but like many other women in and out of the entertainment industry, her body seems to prove that age is just a number and it only takes one look at a previous post from the same boat outing to confirm it.

In the post in question, Union posed alone against the boat and with the ocean as a background to flaunt her toned and athletic body while wearing a colorful bikini and a charming smile.

In another image, Union and Wade happily shared a loving embrace, with the two looking much in love with big smiles on their faces. As for the location of the touching photo of the husband and wife, Union simply wrote, “on the water.”

A COUPLE OF ADVOCATES

The celebrity couple appears to lead a comfortable life thanks to their respectively successful careers. But they also want to make sure that they use their platform to advocate for different urgent causes to make the world a better place.

Not all has been easy for Wade and Union. As a family, they have gone through experiences like infertility, surrogacy, gender identity issues, sexual assault, and racism.

The husband and wife want to share those experiences in order to help other people going through similar issues.

“It's not always a popular thing to speak out on issues that people are uncomfortable with or not as educated on, but this is the platform that God gave me and my family,” Wade told ET recently.

The statement came soon after Wade and Union proudly introduced their 13-year-old daughter Zaya as transgender.
