Cookie Johnson made sure that her friend felt super special on her birthday. The 61-year-old shared a sweet Instagram post to wish Nina Cooper, her close friend, a happy birthday.

In the photo, Cookie and her husband, Magic Johnson, posed alongside Nina and her husband, Andre Harrell. All of them smiled brightly as they huddled together for a picture.

Recently, Cookie and Magic jetted out to Croatia for a vacation. According to TMZ, the couple was spotted by fans in Dubrovnik where they posed for photos with keen admirers while following social distancing protocol.

Even the COVID-19 pandemic could not stop the two from enjoying their annual vacation that usually lasts around six weeks. As per TMZ, the vacations usually cost anywhere between $4-$6 million.

A LAVISH 60TH BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION

Last year, the couple made headlines after jetting off to St. Tropez to celebrate their 60th birthday with a bang. The lavish weekend-long celebration was attended by Hollywood A-listers including Jennifer Lopez and Angela Bassett.

Magic and Cookie were accompanied by their kids, EJ and Elisa Johnson, and jammed to old school hits at Nikki Beach on the first day of the celebration.

The couple danced in front of the DJ booth during the poolside bash which was attended by the likes of Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Chris Tucker, Angela Bassett, and Courtney B. Vance.

Day two of the extravagant event was complete with a club event featuring a performance by Doug E. Fresh. Jennifer Lopez and EJ were amongst the ones who utterly enjoyed dancing the night away.

AS EXTRAVAGANT AS IT COULD GET

On the third and final day of the lavish affair, Magic and Cookie treated their guests with an outdoor bash in a venue that overlooked the French Riviera.

While the guests enjoyed an acrobat performance, a plane flew over their heads with a banner that read "Happy Birthday Cookie & Earvin." A party does not get more lavish than that.
