Michael Jordan's Grandson Rakeem Enjoys View of a Lake with His Proud Dad in a Cute New Photo

Michael Jordan's grandson and his father, Rakeem Christmas, looked content as the proud dad held his son in his arms while looking out at a trail leading to a lake.

Michael Jordan's daughter, Jasmine Jordan didn't follow in her famous father's footsteps with a career in basketball. It is reported that she tried the sport at school but decided that it wasn't something she was passionate about.

However, Jasmine has stayed within the family and works as an executive for the Jordan brand. She works with players from the Charlotte Hornets which is a team owned by her father.

Jasmine hasn't strayed too far from basketball on the homefront either. She is engaged to professional basketball player, Rakeem Christmas Sr. The young couple has a one-year-old son named Rakeem Jr.

During an interview with The Undefeated, Jasmine joked about being 6-foot-1 and not being a great basketball player despite her height. However, she admitted that she hoped her son would one day inherit her height and be great at basketball.

Recently, Rakeem Sr. enjoyed quality time with his son at Lake Norman in North Carolina. As he held his son in his arms, they both looked content looking out at a stone path that led to the lakefront.

Rakeem Sr. appeared to be paying homage to Kobe Bryant as he was dressed in the late NBA star's jersey, complete with matching sneakers.

The serene environment appeared to give the best atmosphere for Rakeem Sr. to reflect on his bond with his son. In his caption, the doting dad wrote, "us Against The [world].."

Rakeem also hinted at the focus and inspiration he was feeling at that moment and referred to one of Kobe's infamous hashtags. He added "#MambaMentality."

Rakeem Sr.'s fans loved the sweet father and son moment. Fans gushed over his adorable son and pointed out how big Rakeem Jr. had gotten.

Other fans joined him in paying tribute to Kobe by remembering his jersey number. One fan made their own version of the "mamba mentality" with a Jordan twist.
