John Travolta shared the captivating moment he and his grown daughter, Ella, enjoyed a dance. The father-daughter moment was fraught with memories.

John Travolta and his grown daughter, Ella, had his Instagram timeline brimming with emotions as he shared a clip of their dance to the delight of fans.

The video's content was not just any regular dance as it held significant memories of Travolta's late wife, Kelly Preston, who recently passed on.

IN HONOR OF PRESTON

Travolta looked ever-youthful in a black polo shirt and a pair of white trousers as he held his daughter, Ella, 20, in his arms. Ella rocked a casual glam, which included a black blazer worn over a Caribbean-style floral dress. Travolta captioned his post:

"My daughter @ella.travolta and I dancing in memory of momma. One of Kelly's favorite things, dancing with me."

The duo was filmed in the interior of a dimly lit bar as they indulged in a slow dance. While Ella and her star dad gently followed the rhythm of the music, they expertly moved around the dancefloor. At a point, Travolta topped the dance as he twirled his lovely daughter.

ON PRESTON'S LEGACY

Preston died in July, following her private battle with breast cancer. In his Instagram tribute and announcement, Travolta made it known that Preston fought the ailment for two years.

She once made it known that it was ideal to love one's kids as if it was the last moment.

Ella's post was a touching message. She wrote in her Instagram post: "Anyone who is lucky enough to have known you or to have ever been in your presence will agree that you have a glow and a light that never ceases to shine…"

INSIDE PRESTON'S MOTHERHOOD

John Travolta, an award-winning Hollywood star, and fellow star, Kelly Preston got married in 1991 and had three children together. Their oldest child, Jett, passed on in 2009.

Once in an interview with People, Preston talked about how much she adored her kids and their unique characters. The star mom mentioned that when Jett died, she vowed to keep his memories alive.

A year after Jett's passing, Preston and Travolta welcomed a boy child, Benjamin Hunter. For her, this was the highlight of motherhood, as they had tried many times to have another child before his birth.
