Wildlife conservationist couple Bindi Irwin and Chandler Powell are preparing to expand their lovely family, and the doting husband is more than excited about it. In the early hours, Powell took to his Instagram to share some touching words about their marriage alongside a lovely photo of them.

The lovebirds were seen in their zoo uniforms, posing by the pond with Irwin resting her head on Powell's chest while he wrapped his arms around her. The couple, who tied the knot in March, were all smiles as they looked at the camera.

In the accompanying caption, he described his wife as his "best friend" and disclosed that they had spent the past weeks working with crocodiles at the Steve Irwin Wildlife Reserve in North Queensland while dealing with the news of welcoming a child. He ended the message with kind words about their marriage, writing:

“Every day is incredible with my beautiful wife.”

The 22-year-old explained that although she was in her first trimester, she and Powell wanted their numerous fans to be a part of their journey. She described their unborn child as "the most important part of our lives" before asking her 3.8 million followers for prayers and advice for their little one.

Her husband also shared the same photo on his page, expressing his utmost joy at becoming a father and assuring Bindi that she will be the best mother. A week after the pregnancy news Bindi praised her husband for victoriously rescuing a scrub python from danger.

Sharing a clip of Powell handling the snake during the rescue mission, the proud wife was heard in the background cheering her man on and encouraging the creature to leave the road.

Chandler carefully held the snake, gradually leading it to the forest where it would be safe. Once the rescue was completed, Bindi who was filming zoomed in on the snake and wished it a good night.
