At fifty, television personality Tami Roman could pass for a typical American teenager. She showed off her looks this week in a black and gold outfit and popping red to-die-for lips.

American television personality Tami Roman is ready to embrace her looks no matter what anyone else thinks.

Alongside a photo of her looking stunning and glamorous, Roman sent out a written message on Instagram to show she was in charge of her life once again.

The picture featured the actress adorned in a thin-strapped gold and black-patterned dress, showing off flawless skin and trimmed-to-shape figure.

Further crowning her beauty, she sported large ring-shaped earrings and short curly hair. Her fierce facial expression and red lips finished off the perfect look. Her caption on the post read:

"You can't let words control you or your actions. You gotta have more focus than that. Imma start ignoring the words, "nacho cheesier Dorritos" Expeditiously!"

Her fans could not agree more as they shared words of encouragement to the reality star. Many also commended her fashionable appearance.

Roman's love for fashion and looking good is not alien to her fans who, last year, turned up to support her during the launch of her shoe line collaboration with Jessica Rich.

It happened because she decided to take charge of her life following her diabetes diagnosis.

Despite her success in the beauty aspect, Roman has suffered some negative publicity in recent times. Topping the list was her tacky exchange with television personality Jennifer Williams over her ex-boyfriend's arrest.

The "Basketball Wives" star, who is focused on her acting career since leaving the show, also received backlash for her supposed weight loss. But in her usual confident way, she had the perfect comeback for critics saying:

"I didn't lose weight. I lost my willingness to die. DIABETES IS NO JOKE! So enjoy yourself laughing, leaving negative comments, and calling me a crackhead."

In the 2018 post, she established that she was choosing to live for her daughters and therefore took up healthy habits. Such habits as detox, suppressing her appetite, and making better food choices remarkably contributed to her weight loss.

This is not the first time Roman has addressed her weight loss publicly. During a 2018 episode of "Basketball Wives," she went candid about her weight loss, saying it happened because she decided to take charge of her life following her diabetes diagnosis.

She made the statement in response to reality star Evelyn Lozada's derogatory comment about her weight loss, referring to her as a "crackhead."

Roman has proven herself a far cry from the public's negative opinion of her, and fans are all too glad to watch her big comeback.
