Omar Epps' Look-Alike Son Poses in a Pink Hoodie Three Months before He's Officially a Teenager

Omar Epps' nearly teenage son, Amir Epps, who bears a striking resemblance with his famous father, looked handsome as he posed in a pink hoodie in new snaps shared on his mom's Instagram page.

Becoming a teenager is a significant growth milestone for most children and is hugely anticipated by parents. It is often described as a child's first initiation into adult life.

Talented actor Omar Epps' 12-year-old son, Amir with wife Keisha Spivey Epps will be turning 13 in three months, and his proud mom has already begun counting down to the special day.

Keisha recently shared two pictures on her Instagram page showing off her son who bears a striking resemblance to his father.

Amir posed in a pink hoodie and grey shorts with a pair of white sneakers. The former member of the R&B group Total shared the pictures alongside the caption:

"Time is precious. Not promised and it flies. In 3 months he'll officially become a teenager. Wow. I take no blessings for granted…"

Keisha and Omar are one of the most admired Black couples in the entertainment industry. The lovebirds began dating in the early 2000s and eventually tied the knot in 2006.

They welcomed their first child together, daughter K'marie, in July 2004. Barely a year after the couple exchanged vows, they welcomed their second child, Amir, on Christmas day in 2007.

Epps opened up about his childhood and the strong influence his single mom had in shaping his life and career success.

Apart from their two children, Keisha is also stepmom to Omar's daughter, Aiyanna Yasmine, 20, from a previous relationship. In 2017, Aiyanna reached a milestone when she graduated from college and Omar showed some fatherly love as he sent her off to prom.

Despite his successful acting career, the 47-year-old actor believes his greatest achievement is his family and he always puts them first. While speaking of his wife's influence in his life, Omar said:

"She's amazing. There's no question that that's my soulmate..."

Omar is a dedicated family man and is very involved in raising his kids with his wife. Sadly, the "Resurrection" star did not enjoy a father figure while growing up. His dad abandoned him and his mom, Bonnie, when he was a child.

In his debut book "From Fatherless to Fatherhood," Omar opened up about his childhood and the strong influence his single mom had in shaping his life and career success.

Omar has enjoyed a successful acting career spanning more than three decades. His movie credits include "Juice," "Higher Learning," "The Wood," "In Too Deep," and "Love & Basketball."

After more than 15 years of marriage, Omar and Keisha Epps continue to exemplify a good marriage. They have done an excellent job raising their kids through the years and today their family remains rock solid.
