Jenna Bush Hager Reveals Sweet Letter to Late Grandparents in Her New Book
Jenna Bush Hager's letters in her new book titled " Everything Beautiful in Its Time" honors the memory of her late paternal and maternal grandparents' former president George H.W. Bush, Barbara Bush, Harold Welch, and Jenna Welch.
Popular co-host of "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna," Jenna Bush Hager, appreciated and paid tribute to her late grandparents in her latest book.
Jenna, who is named after her maternal grandmother, revealed that the title of her book was picked from the Bible verse she shared during her grandmother, Jenna Welch’s funeral.

Jenna shares the letter-writing talent that her grandparents possessed, and she revealed some of the letters she wrote to them in her new book. The book also featured letters she wrote to her twin sister Barbara and her three loving children— Mila, 7, poppy, 5, and Hal, 1.
[Jenna Bush Hager] spoke about a list of advice and a unique one that she will never forget, which she got from her late grandfather.
The TV show host read a few lines from a letter she wrote to her granny Barbara Bush on her 37th birthday in the book. Jenna read:
"Dear Granny, today is my birthday, You know that, of course... Now that you're gone, I feel your absence most strongly on these days..."
The 38-year-old felt lucky she had the active presence and guidance of all four grandparents in her life before their passing. Barbara Bush passed away at a golden age of 92 in April 2018. Shortly after that, her husband, former president George H. W. Bush also passed on at 94 in November 2018.
Jenna lost her maternal grandmother Jenna Welch last year, but she was grateful to have her for so long after her grandfather Harold Welch had died in 1995.
The book did not only feature the letters she wrote to her loving grandparents, but it also consisted of essays which had details of all the lessons and wisdom she learned from her grandparents.
On "TODAY with Hoda & Jenna," the news personality spoke about a list of advice and a unique one that she will never forget, which she got from her late grandfather, former President George H.W. Bush, he said:
“Don’t forget to enjoy the game.”
Recently the author shared a fantastic throwback picture of herself and twin sister Barbara with their late grandfather George H.W. Bush on the day he would have clocked 96 in June.
Jenna captioned the post by expressing her love for him in the caption. She also said she sees his gentle and compassionate attitude in her three kids, Mila, Poppy, and Hal.
