Despite the extended stay at home, the couple has remained quite busy and have kept their fans updated with their personal lives through their social media. They recently celebrated their 15th anniversary and shared pictures of the special day with their fans.

Roberts went all out as she spoiled Laign with personalized crystal champagne glasses and a bottle of fizz. Obviously a romantic, Roberts also presented Laign with a beautiful cake and other mouthwatering gifts.

She eventually underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally-Ann in 2012.

The TV personality first came out as a homosexual in a 2013 Facebook post where she thanked Laign for standing by her after undergoing a bone marrow transplant that saved her life a year earlier.

Shortly after coming out as gay, fans of the famous TV host caught a glimpse of Laign for the first time when Roberts shared a cute family photo during a January 2014 episode of "Good Morning America."

During the show, Roberts explained that the adorable family photo was taken during her niece Judith's wedding. For the first time, she also opened up about her 2013 Facebook post where she came out.

Roberts and Laign have had an enduring love story since they began dating in 2005. During their 15-year relationship, Roberts has struggled with her health and she is a two-time cancer survivor.

In 2007, she beat breast cancer, and barely five years later, she was diagnosed with MDS. After undergoing numerous chemotherapy sessions, she eventually underwent a life-saving bone marrow transplant from her sister Sally-Ann in 2012.

Due to her medical history, Roberts was deemed high risk for COVID-19 and was advised by her doctors to quarantine and take extra precautions to protect herself from the virus.
