Tatyana Ali recently wished her former co-star Alfonso Ribeiro a happy birthday. The actress took to Instagram to share a throwback photo alongside a heartwarming birthday message.

“Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” star Alfonso Ribeiro recently turned 49 and was met with warm wishes from friends and loved ones, including his former co-star Tatyana Ali.

Taking to Instagram, Ali shared a throwback photo of herself and Ribeiro flashing smiles for the camera as they posed alongside each other.

While Ali donned an all-black outfit, Ribeiro rocked white pants and a matching jacket with a blue shirt beneath. The actress accompanied the photo with a caption where she wished Ribeiro a happy birthday while describing him as her brother from another mother. Ali also wrote:

“Enjoy your day!!! You do this thing called life so well. ??????”

Shortly after sharing the post, fans and followers took to the comments section to leave sweet birthday messages for Ribeiro.

Ribeiro also got a heartwarming birthday tribute from Will Smith, another “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” costar. In an Instagram post, Smith shared an old photo that captured him and Ribeiro laughing. Captioning the picture, he wrote:

“Yo, Alf! Happy Birthday to you, my guy. I've known you for over 30 birthdays!"

He continued by recounting memories they have shared over the years. Smith concluded by describing Ribeiro as a ride or die while wishing him a year full of health and happiness.

In “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” Smith acted as the main character, Will, while Ribeiro and Ali acted as Carlton Banks and Ashley Banks, respectively.

Earlier this month, Smith shared reunion snapshots from the show’s 30th-anniversary celebration, and as expected, it featured Ribeiro, Ali, and other members of the cast.

Last year, Ribeiro and Ali had a mini-reunion when the two were spotted at the Los Angeles premiere of "Aladdin" which features Smith. The actress was pregnant with her second child whom she shares with her husband, Dr. Vaughn Rasberry.

Though it’s been years since “Fresh Prince of Bel-Air” came to an end, the stars have evidently maintained a close bond and have also supported each other over time.
