DWTS Host Tyra Banks Poses in a Sheer Dress for New Episode as She Gives a Glimpse of Backstage
Tyra Banks looked stunning in her sheer black floor-length dress, which she shared as a preview of the new “Dancing With The Stars” episode: “Can’t wait to see you there.”
Recently, several changes in “Dancing With The Stars” were announced, including the departure of the long-time host, Tom Bergeron and judge Len Goodman, and the coming of pro dancer Britt Stewart.
Former “America’s Next Top Model” star, Tyra Banks, took the place of Bergeron and his co-host, Erin Andrews, as the only female host, which fans were disappointed to hear after the season premiere aired.
BLACK BEAUTY
Banks recently shared a sneak peek of her “Dancing With The Stars” dress on Instagram, which looked both powerful and elegant. The black floor-length dress was made from sheer textured material and had a plain black minidress inside. She captioned the post:
“I wish SHEER luck to all the stars that are dancing their butts off every Monday on @dancingabc.”
The supermodel posed, holding both sides of her dress up with both hands and fiercely looked straight at the camera. Her strong aura gave the impression that the coming episode will be as intense as her vibe.
VISION IN RED
Banks made the dance floor her runway during the season 29 premiere, debuting in a bright red ball gown, matching arm-length gloves, and high heels of the same color. As she took the mic, the model excitedly beamed with pride to be part of the show she so loved.
While she did look gorgeous, Banks actually had a wardrobe malfunction behind the scenes.
Although there was no live audience, pre-recorded applause was played for the host, who claimed she would have never thought landing such an opportunity would be possible. “I’m so grateful to be a part of this incredible legacy,” she added.
A PERFECT FIT
With all the glamorous outfits and high-spirit she has, Banks fits perfectly on the show. Although the fans surely miss the original hosts, the actress ensured everyone that the show will still be the same.
Many were shocked when news about Bergeron and Andrews being cut off the show surfaced in the media, making people speculate Banks only landed the job because she was black.
“Tom Bergeron is a genius host, a comedic host,” Banks said. “I had to make sure that I could bring something new, [while] respecting what he’s already done.”

BANKS’ WARDROBE MALFUNCTION
As she said, Banks did bring something new to the show -- more glitz and glamour with her flashy clothing, including her two outfits in the season premiere. While she did look gorgeous, Banks actually had a wardrobe malfunction behind the scenes.
The host’s earring fell out while she was on stage and was nowhere to be found for a moment. The model kept things calm and passed the scene to judge Carrie Inaba.

Having a new judge is only one of the few changes made on the show. The others include Derek Hough’s replacement for Len Goodman, who is stuck in the United Kingdom due to the pandemic.
Another significant change is the virtual audience, instead of live ones during the taping. Regardless of the situation, the show carried on and continued to broadcast across the country.
