See Rare Photo Kelly Ripa Shared of Her Sons Michael & Joaquin to Mark National Son's Day
In celebration of National Son's Day, Kelly Ripa shared a beautiful picture of the two sons, Joaquin and Michael, she shares with acting husband, Mark Consuelos.
Kelly Ripa is the proud mom of three children with her husband, Mark Consuelos. Her eldest and youngest are boys, and she made sure to celebrate them on National Son's Day with a sweet tribute.
Michael is the eldest of the three, with Lola in the middle and the youngest, Joaquin still living with mom and dad in their penthouse in the Upper East Side of Manhattan until he is old enough to spread his wings like his siblings already had.

CELEBRATING NATIONAL SON'S DAY
In tribute to Michael and Joaquin, Ripa shared a picture taken of them during a trip to Disney's Hollywood Studios at the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, near Orlando.
Arm in arm, the two brothers smiled at the camera, with Michael bearing a strong resemblance to his dad, Mark Consuelos. Michael recently began living his own life after graduating from New York University in May this year, even if it happened virtually.
QUARANTINING BROUGHT THEM TOGETHER
Amid the novel coronavirus pandemic, Ripa and Consuelos had all their kids back under one roof as they quarantined together. Ripa loved the experience, as she previously joked that they had reached the age where one has to fight to spend time with them.
Michael is focused on his career, which entails following in his father's footsteps. After making a guest appearance on "Riverdale" alongside dad Mark in 2018, Michael knew that he had found his vocation.
WHAT THE KIDS ARE UP TO
While Michael is working to make a name for himself, sister Lola is in college, leaving Joaquin to be doted on by Ripa, who didn't deny that he was the family favorite during an interview in 2018.
"And that rumor — I think there's a lot of speculation involved in that, but from what I know from the many 15 years I've been in the family, I can say that that is most likely true," Ripa admitted.
EMPTY NEST, STILL HAPPY NEST
Consuelos and Ripa are as in love as the day they married back in 1996. When confronted with the thought of being alone with each other again when Joaquin is ready to move out, Ripa's reaction was hilarious and unexpected as she explained:
“We’re going to be totally naked. At all times. We are going to change the locks. People are like, ‘Oh, you’re gonna miss the kids.’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know.’”
During another interview, Mark Consuelos shared what it meant to him spending months of quality time with their grown children due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
All the extra time together meant he could access where he was in his relationships with his children, and happy that they all still like each other; all the spare time also meant furthering on the strong bonds they already share. Priceless.
