On Thursday, “Entertainment Tonight (ET)” released an opinion piece by “Dancing with the Stars (DWTS)” competitor, Carole Baskin, 59. The reality star was eliminated from the show’s Disney Night this week.

CAROLE’S BLOG POST
The “Tiger King” star penned her latest and final blog post from the 14th floor of her Los Angeles apartment. She shared how she already missed everyone she’d worked with on DWTS.
Baskin also revealed that she had taken something special from DWTS as a souvenir of her time on the dance show. She explained that the item was something the dance competition had done for her.
THE SOUVENIR SHE KEPT
In her blog, the reality star wrote: “Dancing with the Stars embroidered a beautiful robe for me with their logo and my name, so that is one I will keep and cherish.” However, this wasn’t the only item she kept from her time there.
The Big Cat Rescue CEO shared that she kept a small heart from the blast of hearts on set. She also kept her parking passes and a mirrorball tumbler.
AUCTIONING OFF A TUMBLER
Baskin explained how she would probably auction off the tumbler to help with funds for feeding her cats. She shared how the negative portrayal she got on “Tiger King” contributed to her loss of income.
The star also revealed that money was also tight because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease. She also confessed that private tours had to be stopped in March 2020 because of the pandemic.
UNIMPRESSIVE PERFORMANCE
Baskin’s performance that failed to win over judges this week. She and Pashkov danced the Samba to “The Lion King’s” song "The Circle of Life."
The Netflix star kept with the theme from the film by dressing as a lion with her partner. She wore a sparkly brown costume with fur, complete with lioness ears and “paw” shoes.
BASKIN ELIMINATED
Sadly for Baskin, judges Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli chose to save Anne Heche and her dance partner. Before her elimination, the animal activist took to Facebook to plea for votes in a video post.
Her very first performance on the show also fell short. She received the lowest scores during the season 29 premiere for her Paso dance routine to Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger.”
