Hartwell had filed for divorce with a request for a paternity test.
Pulliam is a popular figure in Hollywood who has acted in and produced quite a number of shows and movies. She's popularly known for starring in "The Cosby Show."
The actress was once married to Ed Hartwell, with whom she shares a daughter named Ella. Hartwell and Pulliam's marriage came as a shock to the public because at the time, it was believed that the actress was in a long-term relationship with Big Tigger.
Pulliam and Hartwell confirmed their union on an episode of her podcast, "Kandidly Keisha," which aired in January 2016.
During the episode, she revealed that their marriage happened on January 1, 2016 at her home, following a courtship which she said lasted about four months.
In July 2016, she announced that she was pregnant and the following week, it was reported that Hartwell had filed for divorce with a request for a paternity test.
His request was obliged and the paternity test proved that Hartwell is indeed the father of their daughter, Ella Grace. The pair's divorce was finalized in 2018 and Pulliam got primary custody while Hartwell was awarded visitation rights.
Since their divorce, Pulliam has moved on with life and now the actress seems to have moved on as well. In July, she took to her Instagram page to wish her new boyfriend, actor Brad James a "happy birthday."
She shared a montage of photos that documented the socially distanced date they had out on the water for his 39th birthday, and in her caption, she declared her love for the actor.
Pulliam and James went public with their relationship in 2019. They are both hardworking actors so it does not come as a surprise that they initially met on the set of a movie titled "Pride and Prejudice."
The pair hit it off and the rest, as they say, is history. Will wedding bells be ringing soon, though, fans can only wonder.
