Taraji P Henson Channels Janet Jackson Rocking Red Space Buns in a Floral Dress & Boots
Star actress Taraji P Henson's glam was all about throwbacks in her recent social media upload as she stepped out in a vintage Janet Jackson inspired look.
The "Empire" star, Taraji P Henson dedicated her recent glam on Instagram to music icon Janet Jackson as she rocked one of the star's vintage looks and hairstyles.
Henson made a picture collage to give fans a peek of the original look plus her gorgeous and stylish remake. The "What Men Want" actress stood in a colorful garden in the photo shared as she rocked a colorful floral outfit with dark blue undertones.

The hair expert's glam included a baggy sweater in matching colors as her wide-brimmed skimpy skirt. Henson rocked her fiery red hair in two space buns similar to Jackon's red space buns in the first frame.
Besides Henson, more celebrities would attest to the fact that Jackson holds some amount of influence in their music and fashion style.
To spice up her style, the TV star clad her feet in thigh high boots matching her hair color. Posing for the camera, Henson presented a big smile as she held out her skirt for effect. She captioned her post:
"Just a @janetjackson #appreciationpost. I love you.!"
In the first frame, a younger version of the legendary vocalist seemed photographed unaware as she looked down, rocking a vintage crop top and a pair of black pants. Many celebrities and fans gave their thumbs up as they gushed over Henson's creativity.
Fans who religiously follow the 50-year-old movie star would reckon that she has a special bond with maintaining good and healthy hair. This led her to launch her haircare product line known as TPH by Taraji earlier this year.
It all started when she began her Hollywood career and Henson would often wear weaves. She shared with the Hollywood Reporter that she wanted to maintain her natural tresses and before long, she began to create hair care concoctions. She told the news site:
"I started doing concoctions with my favorite shampoos and mixing. I just made this for me; it wasn't for the masses until I had friends try it on vacation one time..."
Besides Henson, more celebrities would attest to the fact that Jackson holds some amount of influence in their music and fashion style. Jackson's sixth studio album, "The Velvet Rope," is seen as a groundbreaking body of work with some of its elements in mainstream music.
The sensual theme, "The Velvet Rope" is often referred to whenever Rihanna's "Anti" album is discussed. Songs from icons like Beyoncé and Christina Aguilera often bear artworks recording some of Jackson's style.
