Camila Cabello has proven herself to be one of this generation's hottest music stars. However, like many trailblazing musicians before her, she is also taking some impressive fashion risks. This week, she revealed her latest daring move.

Earlier this week, singer and dancer Camilla Cabello shared a picture on Instagram, showing that she had just cut her characteristically long hair. The singer, who started her career as a member of the pop group "Fifth Harmony," shared the image of her looking fantastic, even without her long tresses.

Cabello looked lovely in a simple white-and-black number as she stood in what appeared to have been a hallway. The singer smiled at the camera as her makeup-free face glistened in the night.

A brunette, singer Cabello cut her hair up to her shoulders. The pro dancer also trimmed her curtain bangs into a full fringe. Speaking on the decision on her Instagram page, she said:

"LOST MY SHORT HAIR VIRGINITY!!!! I've had long hair all my life it's TIME TO FEEL THE AIR ON THESE SHOULDERS BABY."

While Cabello looked lovely, it was her hair that stole the show. Whether long or short, the singer looks fantastic with her hair. Cabello tagged her boyfriend, fellow singer Shawn Mendes.

The singer also tagged celebrity hairstylist Dimitri Giannetos. Although it' is unclear what Mendes thinks of Cabello's short hair, there is little reason to believe that he would have any problems with it.

Despite being apart for a while, the couple has kept up the support for each other.

The pair has been going pretty strong recently as their relationship nears the two-year mark. The couple reportedly started staying together in Florida at the start of the quarantine period.

Although they have not been seen in public for a while, tabloids have kept eyes on them. Cabello flew over to London months back as she was working on a new Cinderella movie. On the other hand, Mendes has been in Los Angeles, finishing his album.

Despite being apart for a while, the couple has kept up the support for each other. Last month, Mendes announced his new song titled "Wonder." Cabello shared the song on her social media, praising it as a "gift to the word."

Mendes appears to be ready with his upcoming album. Per reports, he is gearing up for a December 4 release. The singer also recently revealed that every song he had ever written was about Cabello.

In a new Netflix documentary, he confirmed that all his songs, including those that came before the pair started dating, were about Cabello. As Mendes explained, Cabello has been involved in creating his new album from start to finish. So, it is only fair that he dedicates it to her.
