Country musician Miranda Lambert’s husband recently shared with his fans what country life looked like in celebration of Halloween. The former policeman uploaded images of himself and his wife while preparing a barbeque.

Miranda Lambert’s husband, Brendan McLoughlin is getting real acquainted with country living as seen in his recent post. This week, McLoughlin shared three images where he was seen preparing a barbeque for Halloween.

In the first photo he shared, the former policeman appeared alongside his wife. The pair were all smiles in the selfie while wearing cowboy hats, similar shirts, and scarves tied around their necks to complete their looks.

It seemed McLoughlin was right at home as he’s been settling into the country life. Before moving in with Lambert, the star’s husband was a policeman in the city of New York.

In the second photo, the country musician’s husband was photographed as he poured some sauces on a pair of ribs. The meat sat in some foil as the former policeman smiled at the camera.

His third image showed him licking his fingers as he watched the meat which he’d placed on a grill. In the caption of his post he explained his and his wife’s Halloween costumes writing:

“Got my own little Annie Oakley for Halloween... and the other 364 days a year.”

McLoughlin also added hashtags noting how the city had gone country and that his meat was finger-licking good. Showing how he was acclimating to the country life he wrote:

“Country life has this city guy smoking ribs, and I’m not mad about it.”

Lambert’s husband has been featuring a lot in the public eye of late. Besides recently opening his own Instagram account, the former policeman appeared in a music video for one of his wife’s songs.

In the footage, Lambert’s husband appeared shirtless as he and his wife piled on the public displays of affection.

Last month, the country singer released the video for the track "Settling Down." The song is from her latest album, Wildcard, and in the clip, McLoughlin had people fanning themselves as he showed off his ripped body.
