How Nia Long and Ime Udoka Celebrated Their Only Son's 9th Birthday

In a series of pictures she shared on Instagram, Nia Long gave fans a glimpse of how she celebrated her son, Kez Udoka's birthday.

Nia Long and Ime Udoka celebrated their only son Kez's birthday in style amidst family and friends as he marked his 9th birthday.

Long took to her Instagram to give fans a glimpse of how Kez celebrated his ninth birthday. The 50-year-old actress shared cute moments from the big night.

Long shared a picture of her smiling friends who had come to grace the night and another cute photo of her and Ime posing alongside their celebrant son looking all radiant.

In another beautiful moment of the night, Long happily cuddled Kez as the duo looked excited, posing before his cake. In another post, Kez stood before his well-lit cake as though he was about to make his birthday wish. Nia gushed on the post;

"My baby brought us good luck today. HAPPY BIRTHDAY KEZZIE!! Mommy and Daddy love you so much!"

Long's fans joined the actress to wish her son a happy birthday. The post garnered an impressive 58,091 likes and more than eight hundred comments.

One fan noted that Kez looked handsome and grown-up. Other fans dropped their birthday messages on the post and wished the singer's family well.

Although she enjoys the spotlight from a remarkable career, Long has said that her family will always come first.

Long gave birth to Kez in 2011 with her long time lover, basketball player Udoka. Kez is the only child the actress shares with him and her second overall.

The "Big Momma's House" star reportedly revealed the identity of her baby's father a few days after she revealed that she was pregnant.

Although Long and Udoka have been together for a while, the couple do not have plans to walk down the aisle any time soon. The actress revealed that she is not totally a fan of marriage and has never been married.

Long and her longtime lover went public in 2010 and got engaged in 2015. Since their engagement, the couple is yet to update their fans on any wedding plans. They seem to be just fine without a marriage tag to their name.

The actress has previously stated that marriage is not a priority for her after rumors of a secret wedding between her and Udoka surfaced.

Aside from her love life, Long has also enjoyed a successful career on the screen. She met fame in her role in the television series, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," and has gone on to appear in other high profile movies such as "Empire," "Boyz n the Hood," "In Too Deep," "The Best Man," and "Big Momma's House."

In July this year, she starred in the Netflix psychological thriller, "Fatal Affair." Although she enjoys the spotlight from a remarkable career, Long has said that her family will always come first.
