See Tika Sumpter's Sweet Post as She Honors Her Younger Brother Collin on Veterans Day
American actress and television host Tika Sumpter celebrated Veterans Day with all Americans by posting a sweet tribute to her "little brother," Collin, who is an American soldier.
As Americans celebrated Veterans Day to honor men and women who have dedicated their lives to serve in the nation's armed forces, actress Tika Sumpter also paid tribute to her brother, Collin.
In a sweet post on her Instagram page, the actress shared two pictures of her brother. The first photo showed him in a US Armed Forces uniform, out in a desert area.

The second snapshot showed the soldier leading his comrades as they marched on the streets, wearing black and gold tracksuits.
In the caption to the post, Sumpter said she is proud of Collin and grateful for him and many others in her family and around the world for their service and sacrifices.
Besides Collin, Sumpter has two other brothers, including an older brother, Curtis, who appeared with her on a BET News Special in 2018 to discuss illegal immigration.
During the show, the eloquent Curtis took his time to explain all the forms of migration before adding that illegal migration has remained an issue because of the continued indecisiveness on the subject.
The actress has been able to keep sane despite the chaos around her through three activities.
Sumpter became famous following her recurring role in the prime time drama, "Gossip Girl," which helped her become a global sex symbol.
The actress has also starred in many noteworthy movies, including the 2016 film "Southside With You," where she starred alongside Parker Sawyer.
The film, which hit theaters on August 26, 2016, took audiences through the intimate details of Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle's first date. Sumpter was glad to take the lead role in such a movie, telling Undefeated that it was her first real lead in a film.
The actress also opened up about being a Black actress in Hollywood in another interview, saying she was humbled to influence positive change for Black women when she landed her role in "Gossip Girl."
2020 has been a tough year for most people, including Sumpter, due to the many challenges the world has faced, including the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, the actress has been able to keep sane despite the chaos around her through three activities - reading, taking care of her skin, and practicing self-care.
The actress said these activities made a lot of difference in a world that sometimes feels out of her control. Hopefully, for Sumpter and the rest of the world, things will get better soon.
