Jenelle Evans Got Custody of Her Son with Ex-boyfriend — What to Know about Her as a Mother

TV personality and mom of three Jenelle Evans, one of the main stars of “Teen Mom 2,” recently reached a custody agreement with her ex-fiancé, Nathan Griffith, over her son, Kaiser.

Born in December 1991, Jenelle Evans attracted people’s attention for the first time in 2010 when she appeared in “16 and Pregnant.” Her episode focused on her realizing that she was too immature to raise a baby on her own.

In 2011, Evans started participating in “Teen Mom 2,” the reality show she is best known for. Nowadays, she has three children, and her romantic life has made many headlines throughout the years.

JENELLE EVANS’ KIDS

Jenelle Evans’ first child is Jace, whom she had in 2009 with ex-boyfriend Andrew Lewis. At the moment, Evans’ mom, Barbara, is raising him after the TV personality signed over custody because she was in and out of jail.

In 2014, Evans and Nathan Griffith’s son, Kaiser, was born. Evans’ youngest kid is daughter Ensley, born in 2017 during her relationship with her husband, David Eason.

In 2019, the couple briefly lost Ensley and Kaiser's custody after Eason reportedly killed their family dog, Nugget, for biting Ensley’s face.

In June, shortly after Evans lost custody, she pointed out that no amount of time and distance could tear apart a mother and her child. She said:

EVANS REGAINED CUSTODY

In July 2019, Jenelle Evans announced that she regained custody of Kaiser and Ensley, admitting to being “ecstatic” for it and ready to show America that she was a good parent. Jace stayed with Barbara.

A little over a year later, Evans made headlines again after claiming that she “saved” her children from Child Protective Services and MTV when she regained custody of them.

Coming back to Kaiser, the boy has been a topic of conversation recently. In October 2020, for example, it was revealed that his parents reached a custody agreement over him.

The TV personality retained primary physical custody of Kaiser, and Griffith is allowed to visit him every other weekend. Apart from that, if Griffith is unable to take care of Kaiser, his mother, Doris, can fill in on his behalf.

Evans admitted to feeling happy for working things out with her ex-fiancé and reaching an agreement out of court that prevented them from spending “thousands of dollars in court fees.”

On November 11, Evans and Kaiser made headlines again after she revealed that the boy had an “infected abscess” in his groin and asked her social media followers to pray for him.

According to Evans, the infection affected Kaiser’s lymph nodes. He was on “multiple medications,” and she was hopeful that the new antibiotic would work.

EVANS’ HUSBAND, DAVID EASON

As per David Eason and Jenelle Evans’ relationship, it made headlines in September 2020 after the TV personality pointed out that she was willing to fight for their marriage.

Evans uploaded many throwback photos of their wedding day on Instagram, writing in the caption that she was happy that they decided to “work through” the hard times for their family.

The former “Teen Mom 2” star even labeled Eason as her “best friend.” She has defended their relationship from online trolls more than once.

A netizen once pointed out that Jenelle Evans didn’t know what real love was. She replied, though, that watching an edited version of her life was not 100% accurate. Despite criticism, the couple is still together.
