Princess Eugenie and Husband Jack Brooksbank Had a Long Dating History — Revisit Their Love
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank exchanged their wedding vows at Windsor Castle in 2018. The royal couple announced that they are expecting their first bundle of joy in early 2021. Here's a look back at their romance.
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank first met in 2010 through mutual friends in a ski resort in Switzerland called Verbier, according to Insider.
Eugenie, the younger daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson, was 20 years old, and Brooksbank was 24. In an interview with BBC, Brooksbank said that it was love at first sight.

In 2011, Eugenie and Brooksbank attended Royal Ascot together. That was their first royal event as a couple. A year later, they hit the red carpet at the premiere of "The Dark Knight Rises" in the United Kingdom.
When Eugenie moved to New York in 2013, they continued to date long distance. Brooksbank told the Daily Mail, "We spend a lot of time on Skype. It's great. We are still very much together."

In 2014, Eugenie and Brooksbank found time to attend Wimbledon together. Eugenie returned to London in 2015 and started working as the associate director of Hauser & Wirth.
A year later, the couple has been inseparable ever since. Eugenie and Brooksbank usually attended events together, such as the Chelsea Flower Show in London.
Brooksbank popped the question while he and Eugenie were on vacation in Nicaragua.
"When I'm with Jack, we watch 'The Walking Dead,' which we're obsessed with. Maybe 'Game of Thrones' is our next thing," Eugenie said in an interview.
The couple sparked engagement rumors after Brooksbank joined the royal family at Balmoral Castle to celebrate the 32nd birthday of Prince Harry in September 2016.
Eugenie and Brooksbank continued attending royal events together in 2017, and on January 22, 2018, Eugenie and Brooksbank finally announced their engagement.
Brooksbank popped the question while he and Eugenie were on vacation in Nicaragua. Prior to announcing their engagement, the twosome moved to Ivy Cottage at Kensington Palace.
Eugenie and Brooksbank's wedding took place in October 2018 at St George's Chapel at Windsor Castle. Eugenie looked stunning in a wedding dress designed by Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos.
In September 2020, the couple announced that they are expecting their first child. Eugenie, who is tenth in the line of succession to the British throne, shared the great news on social media.
